How is the Camso kit compared to Timbersled and Yeti? Great to see an OEM bike.

The bike is a Sherco.
The price is attractive if you're not interested in converting back to a bike for summer.

Arctic cat has them in the show room floors right now. I know of two dealers for sure and if Ralph's has them that is three. That is what this post is about isn't it?

CC cycle has one in westlock I had a good look at it not sure if it’s for me? I already have a 450 dirtbike and 3 sleds the snowbikes seem so slow compared to sleds and unless everyone I ride with had one

We should yes but that isn't a converted bike. It is purpose built.

It would be nice to see 100hp stock and a shifter on the bars, maybe less gears? But as far as today goes, it's kind of like sledding with a stock 800. A 450 on any kit pretty much gets joe blow everywhere and there's turbos/nitrous/big bores if you want more jam. I can't see a current sled OEM besides Yamaha doing a full prototype one ski snowmobile. Imagine reinventing the dirt bike? The engineering would be huge $$ for such a small corner of the market.

What kind of tweaks have that done to the Sherco to make it cold weather ready?
Camso 129 is $5200 so the bike is $9200 without summer stuff to come to $14,400 retail. Comparable to other manufactures bikes but certainly nice if the bikes has other cold weather tweaks already done.

My first kit was a Timbersled. My current is a Camso. The rough trail ride quality & adjustability on the Timbersled was far superior. Not that big of a deal personally 'cuz I hate riding trails with it anyway. They both pretty much suck on a packed trail. The Camso track is far superior to the Timbersled in pretty much any snow condition. The tunnel cover on the Camso is too short to keep the snow off your back. I'm still trying to decide if the center rail design on the Camso really makes any difference. I don't like either one of the ski's. Both tend to wash out. I put a Yeti ski on my TS. Far superior! I wish Camso would use it now that they own Yeti. The most important feature for me is the lower ride height of the Camso. Timbersled was just too darn tall for my short little legs.....not that you put your feet down much on a snowbike. Now......if you're hucking it off cliffs I probably wouldn't go with a Camso.

Like to know as well.

Thermostat, higher output battery, heavier fork springs, fork oil weight, elevation + cold air mapping, seat comfort, foot pegs, icing up of shifter, handlebar warmers, front ski wheel kit, fuel capacity, storage.

All the fun things to deal with.

It would be great news if the homework and thorough testing was done, to address these common issues.

At least someone jumped in .
