Anyone ever rode that NE extension ofRenshaw call Weinberger’s bowl ??? From time to time you always seen some tracksfrom the top of the black waters area . It look like there is only one way toget there by that steep drop and it look a bit sketchy and a bit blind form thetop before descending , Perhaps look like some pretty nice terrain once youinto the other side .

If the snow is deep and untracked it can be tough too get out, I recommend taking someone who has been in there your first time

I love that area! As catmando mentioned if yah dont know the area its better to drop in with someone that has been in there before.
If there is a good dump of snow yah have some work to get out.

Yes there is some nice area down there! If you know what you're doing you can come all the way back around the mountain and back into the Blackwater! Not super big though!

Wicked zone. Drop in you will love it. Towed Shanksters RX1 turbo pig out of there after Ethan pitched it off a cliff.

We helped a fellow get a stock mountain phaser out of there.... Not enough uuumph for the little phaser to make it up the steep climb to the middle plateau area or to the top

I remember that trip. It was my first time down there. I’m sure Rusty had his eyes closed the whole climb up out of Weinberg’s riding double with Rod

I may have been to far in the back of that area once. Seen a slush slide. :sadbanana:

Actually goes about 15km north of there but the area is closed now for phantom caribou.
East Twin, multiple entrances, N E Weinberger is just one.

Yep...Ric and I laughed about that boat anchor many times.
We never leave anyone behind.
Good to know these Ppl are still out there.
Had to self rescue a guy in my group 2 years ago after everyone else in the blackwater just left us when i asked for a sat phone or spot. He had a busted hip. Man was I mad. Now I have my own communications. But still.

Summitric and myself went to Renshaw about 20 years ago and my 670 Summit died.
A couple of great guys with Mods out of Wetaskiwin tried and tried to pull it up a Hill (snowing like crazy) and they blew belts in the attempt.
Theses guys refused payment for the belts and so for 20 years I’ve been paying it forward the same way and given away oil, fuel, spark plugs etc and accepting no payment ever.
Never leave a sledder behind.
