Definitely take your helmet in with you like mentioned. I have the Troy Lee Designs SE4 helmet and the Airbrake XL's are what i just purchased and they fit great. The standard Airbrakes or Airbrake XL's get my vote because the lenses pop out very easily. They also include two sets of lenses when you purchase that model, one for low light and one for bright days.

Agreed. I've run the canopy frames before and had problems with them fogging because they lift off your face when you move because of the helmet. They told me at the Oakley store that Airbrakes were designed for use with helmets and they seem to fit 100 times better. Also the quick change on the lenses is awesome.

So are they as good as they show in this pic? http://www.oakley.com/en/prizm/snow

What frames or style of goggle fit well in a helmet?
That's a bit exaggerated but in essence yes that is the type of difference. They are a mile better in low light. I have line miners because that's all I could get locally but they don't fit my helmet awesome, they pull off my face a bit at the edges due to the strap touching the helmet.

My old 509's are all junk. Even with new lenses they still suck. Didn't realize how bad they pinched off my nose until I purchased the Zeal's and Oakley's.

I normally use a Suomy helmet & the Oakley XL frame fits perfect in it.

couldnt say this any better! 509 is pure junk! I have the Klim yellows right now as my main pair, when they get too wet the old 509s come out of the bag and I can't wait to get them off. Can barely breath through my nose with those things on! And they fog seemingly instantly when stopped

Anyone else finding the line miners fit is not great? (I know each helmet can be different). Seems to be the most affordable way to get into prizm technology. Also the Smith Squad XL looks similar and comes with 2 lenses for near the same price.

Yes they are a tad big and dont fit on a persons face all that tight. They are a tad cold but I wear glasses and they are the best fitting goggle ive had yet, my nose does not hurt from excessive pressure, and I can breath through my nose properly.
They work really good with a decent balaclava.
My glasses and my goggle fogging issues are way down from what they used to be.

I have a ckx titan helmet and the fit with the line miners is absolutely perfect, almost like they were made for it, best combo on the market, some days when its cold and socked in the helmet and goggles never leave my face, flip open muzzle, eat, drink, flip it closed and ride, no fog, no issues what so ever

What colour are guys preferring? I just picked up a set of last years air frame XLs and the came with 2 pair or Rose lenses. I've had yellows for the past couple seasons and have worn them literally all the time regardless of light conditions... opinions on others?

i purchased a pair of line miners infernos in hi pink at Martin Motorsports on their sale day last weekend. Got them 20% off. I hope they are everything they say on low light days. I need to figure out if i want to modify to use quick straps or just use the stock strap. The battery takes up a lot of room.

Cant wait to try them! Heading to Revy on the 7th.

They work great for low light days, but if the sun comes out in full force you'll need to switch for something darker.

I've got line miner infernos. Best goggle I've owned for low light days. Bit pricey but IMO worth it.

I bought a pair of Inferno's but the battery pack will not work with the Quick Straps (the battery is a problem). I also have a pair of Air Brakes that I got to work with the Quick Straps. Haven't got the Prism Rose lens with the Air Brakes. I'm having trouble determining the size of the Air Brakes, so don't know what size of lens to order. The lenses are almost the same price as the goggles.

Can anyone comment on how different the Hi-Pink and the Jade Iridium would compare on a socked in day? Reason I ask is it looks like I can find the latter in stock locally, the Hi-Pink I’d have to order in. Maybe my google skills are weak but I don’t find anything definitive.

Also I find it real strange there doesn’t seem to be much inventory. Either they are a hot seller or Oakley isn’t planning on offering them in the near future.

Jade is dark, for sunny or partially cloudy. Google the prizm lense graph. Rose is a good mix, hi pink best for low light only. Don't buy jade for low light.

Post a picture of your goggles, specifically showing the lens change lever. The standard airbrakes look different, i have them and the XL's.

Prizm Inferno FTW!! No more foggy goggles ever!

Jade is good for sunny days and some clouds but I'd avoid on those socked in days.
Rose is pretty good all around even for socked in days.

Good to know!
I have both of these color lenses. Ive yet to try the jade in the iridium, but i really like the standard rose on all sorts of conditions especially on the socked in days.

Anybody know if there are any Oakley dealers in the Loyd area?? I have to get rid of these 509's I'm pretty sure butter smeared Saran Wrap would make for better visibility! Complete junk!
