Wow nice sled, yes Its a pain to sell on there. Just as hard to buy on there too when a seller wants to mess around, I was down that road last fall on a sled I was really interested in. Lots of scammers these days.

Word of advice, never put your phone number in the phone number section. Put it in the add and spell it out, I had so many scammers try and contact me from Nevada and New York...

The trades one gets offered are ridiculous.
The offers people make are brutal.

I have a truck for sale, starting price $7,500... guy asks me what's the cash price this weekend. Told the guy $6,000, never got a reply back. Another person offers $4,000. Even if after that guy came back after saying $4,000 and bumped it up I still wouldn't sell to him because he's an idiot, and I'm not going to encourage idiocracy.

Trade a '78 El Camino and a engagement ring with verification papers, True story last week!

I used to have fun and reply to them ridiculous offers,now just don't respond.You'd think people get it.Come have a look then make an offer.Few sales do go good though, had a guy in southern bc e transfer me $600 for two shocks, and told him that my parents were up visiting and he could pick them up near his place in BC rather then paying shipping. Was glad he trusted that the deal would go as said, not much of that happens anymore.

I got 2 different calls about my kijiji sled add and the calls were from marketing groups saying they could advertise my sled and get it sold quicker than I could. lots of people wanting to trade

I've found S&M the best place to sell items. The peeps are honest and sales go good but used sleds aren't holding their value.

I agree with you 50%....lol

when I was selling small items $50...$100 items....no issues....selling process worked well.
But whenever I had a higher dollar item...$100,000 plus......I kept getting calls from those marketing losers (every couple days from a different person but from the same company) who "just sold one like it and need another" and for a fee, they would be happy to help me out.....

Dealing with the clowns is just part of selling on kijiji
Anyone that offers lees over a text or email I never reply back. If they offer over the phone I say come and see it first. This has work for me to weed out the non buyers.
Anyone trying to sell advertising I just don't report or hang up.

Well just last week a guy made an offer on my sxs via text.

He never saw them machine until he picked it up.

It was not bad so I told him to e transfer me a 1000.0 deposit

He did and picked up machine 6 days later with a certified cheque.

Gotta love the guys that offer $$$ CASH which to them sweetens the pot apparently. Whenever I get a low ball offer I just reply back with a price higher than the list price with a ?

My personal favorite is some guy low balled me good so I replied back saying for that price I'll sell you one of the tires delivery included. He didn't think it was so funny and instead offered to kick his size 11 shoe up my ass. After I replied back saying I guess delivery is out of the question he went silent Sometimes you gotta have fun with these idiots! lol

Early last winter I was trying to sell a 2014 pro assault for $5500 some punk offered me $3750 "cash today" on Facebook I said sure. Turns out he could not even back his low ball offer. One I've been wanting to do for a while is tell them to meet me at Walmart and never show up.

I use to get marketers and scammers contacting me all the time but nothing since I started posting 2 statements in my ads...

1. No solicitors or Paypal.

2. If you're reading this it's still for sale.

My pet peeve with Kijiji is the people that sell an item will edit their ad to say "sold" afterward...if you're logging on to edit the ad why don't you just delete it. Oh wait, what was I thinking, you just want the world to know you are an Internet master selling guru!

Selling my car and had 2 calls that for $500 could insure that I got my asking price.
I said I would give them the $500 after they got me my asking price.

Both got a prompt f off during the awkward silence after my proposal.
