So I'm looking to find a Clutch that my father In law has on his skidoo but I need it for a polaris. this one allows him with a click of the clutch weight to change it for trail or other. can anyone tell me or help me with this?

thanks

Check the classified section on this site and grab a TRA from someone and get that inner half machined to fit the Poo crankshaft

Maybe I will have to pull it apart when I go to the mountains and weight it for such. Wanted to avoid that if I could but don't look like it

One example of adjustable weights for Polaris clutches, there is probably half dozen different suppliers.

I would never suggest putting a TRA Doo clutch on a Polaris. As BNorth mentioned it is considered inferior, and it is. If anything people have had greater success putting Polaris clutches on SkiDoos

Most of the time a simple spring change can make the difference for flatland riding vs mountain riding and get you in the ball park combined with a dual angle helix for the secondary. The nice thing with Polaris is you can change springs without removing the clutch.

For the cost of machining a TRA clutch to fit a Polaris you could likely get a nice TKI belt drive set up, depending on your sled and be able to change gear ratios within minutes for your trail riding.

stock ski doo clutch. other than being able to adjust for snow conditions it is widely considered inferior to the polaris clutch (p85)

Are any of you guys running a P85 on your xms? Ive been thinking about giving it a shot on my boost it turbo ?
