Kind of a bogus test with the panel hacked away? Long climb though. I think I saw a vid once of longest vertical climb by Fuji in a chute for one of the Thunderstruck video's. It was over a minute and a lot steeper.

What is the point of this video? With hard packed hero snow you can climb anything? Sure the sled was wide open but it wasn't working hard, enough incline for sure to keep the engine from over reving but put a couple feet of fresh on that hillside and make the damn thing work then show us a video of the outcome. For all purpose he might as well have just pinned it across a lake

and do you know any lake that rises 2000 vertical feet? There is more resistance with this climb than on a lake.

I understand that point, however how is this impressive? climbing in altitude is reducing the effective HP....... How much on todays fuel injected systems? I dunno......

My point is that given the had packed conditions what is the impressive part? The climb? The fact the sled was wfo for so long and didn't pop?

I think you are missing Kanedogs point. He can run the sled a WOT and still have cool clutches. The 850 would have been 100 degrees hotter.

Yes I see that, I'm just pointing out that the sled isn't working very hard due to snow conditions. I would like to see the results by adding a few feet of fresh so that the machine is having to work then let's see the results

I'm not getting into that argument, just thinking a better test would be with more challenging conditions. Yes I do know this time of year fresh snow is hard to find
