I had an SRV,a 1980 SRX, a couple Vmax and the new phazer mtn lite.....the 4 stroke sucked, would like to add a nice long track original Phazer to the family. Help use up those 10 liters of Yamalube 2S in my basement doing nothing lol. The right one will come along one day

Very nice Phazer! You also have in the picture almost the first Ski Doo I ever bought myself. Mine was a 74 T'NT 440. Thank you for the memory lane stroll. Vivid memories of trying to start that old 440 in the minus 40 Saskatchewan winters lol. I was very jealous of my friend Billy whose dad had bought them a brand new 1980 Kawasaki Intruder 440.....with electric start

Brp could have made up some ground but the g4 had them stumbling back maybe not this winter but next.

We all know you got a bad one and had a bad experience. Lund has held his grudge against BRP since the RT1000 and that was a long time ago. I really hope I don't have to read about your grudge for that long, lol.
We had two great G4's; one with 2700 km and the other with 1100 km. I will admit, I wasn't impressed with Daag44 and BRPcares as they came on sounding like politicians (lots of rah, rah and no solutions nor follow through). Apparently, some got help from BRPcares but it sure wasn't the way it could have been. Personally, IMHO, they dropped the ball and corporate ego got in the way.
The 850 that ran good were great.
When mine was working it was great.
Yes you are correct BRP dropped the ball and Daggy is a douche.
I got $8K of bitching that I owe BRP.
Figure I am $3K through that.

A decent reply. Why do we have to listen to $8K of bitching (I know we don't have to read it but you know how it goes with reading.....) instead of sending it straight to BRP. We are still listening to guys from the RT1000 era and it gets a little stale. Move along as life is too short to hold those grudges.
I had a motor problem with Polaris. Didn't bitch, whine, and complain, just moved on and quietly told the dealer to shove it. Done deal, it was over.
First off I have a great dealer, corporate sucks.
Second I don't whine, bitching or cry or even hold a grudge.
I believe in accountability and could care less what peps want to call it to hide BRP''s ineptness in their fiasco and I most certainly do not accept their fixes that just cost more.
I believe exposing BRP's attitude to customers should be EXCEPTIONALLY LOUD to aid others in the correct choice. Never know, I may even by another BRP one day.
The crying and misleading comments come from dealers,salesmen and guys like Daggy who claim BRP has done so much and is going to do even more.
Hmmmmm the only thing BRP has done is charge even more for a bad design each time they have a "fix".
Unless BRP has started to pay for bulkhead fixes, belts that I have missed, but not likely.
When I'm wrong......I'll say sorry.
BRP Cares showed BRP'S colors!!
Company Culture to the core.
Will do and say anything for a sale. lol

the 850 had such high expectations and met them from a performance standpoint but not a reliability/durability stand point. It sold like free pancakes so it's issues have hit many people. Doug if someone wants to vent it's there right. Just do not open up there posts.

In all fairness to Doug the bashing is on every SkiDoo thread. Kinda hard to duck a person in every thread? Doug does ride SkiDoo and is not having any issues at all.

I get the venting part and don't worry I don't have a problem with it. But with Randy, to be negative for 6 months and counting is way past venting.
Some history on those having issues with me:
1) I am on topic - basically always
2) Have NOT started a BRP bash thread (unless to counter Daggy sending one sideways)
3)I am the guy that got Ric to cleanup the BRP Cares thread
4) I only post about what has happened to my sled....and I also post on when it has run well
5) I have also posted some of the fixes I made like the resivoir S brace
6) Give what I consider decent snow reports when I get home
7) Actually a funny happy guy in my circle of friends and relatives, even better when running on alcohol at the campfire.
Not sure who has been trained in a 5Why or TapRoot investigation. Those who have will always come up with the same root cause requiring correction.

WHEN BRP steps up to the plate and ACTUALLY does what is right I will give the appropriate atta boy and STFU.
But probably not till then.
Until then I will give my opinion on topic.
And yes I have a very healthy happy exceptionally active life outside of the 850.
Some peps need to get over me and realize where the root issue is. Being responsible for all aspects of projects from breaking ground to key turnover with cost up to 450M, can actually spot right from wrong and who is full of shat.
It is one's choice to like or dislike what I post but facts are facts.
And presently BRP sucks big time. IMO
