In all fairness to Doug the bashing is on every SkiDoo thread. Kinda hard to duck a person in every thread? Doug does ride SkiDoo and is not having any issues at all.

To be fair hes an old man and rides like such, put that thing through the paces with a younger hard rider and without the fixes she'll fail prematurely as pretty much all have

so what you are saying is that 85-90% of the G4 riders ride like old ladies? Well aren't you special?

I guess reading isn't a salesmen's strong point, I said without the fixes it would fail as most have, everyone with the exception of 1 guy I know has had problems with them until they did the BRP band aid fixes, putting a brace on so the bulk head doesn't fold........ what a joke, having to gut and vent panels or re machine clutches just to make a belt last a month......, again a joke, and no where did I say they ride like old ladies, I said old man and I wasnt wrong on that, he is and posts videos all winter riding like an old man, not a bad thing, just would be a different story if he put a 30 year younger version of himself on it

Yes, I am an older rider. But does that mean that I baby the sled or don't ride hard. In your opinion, I guess so. So to ride like a younger person, I have to smash rocks/trees and bust ****. Hell some of the readings I read, where rocks on the trail. Must be a young inexperienced person to accomplish that, eh! Been there, done that and you know what, I found out it wasn't fun fixing chit all the time. I'd rather ride and that was why the foundation with SkiDoo. So last year it was a little different for some riders/sleds. Was it the set up from the factory or dealer set up? Different technicians in the same shop? Who really knows what the problem was?

I do know that I toured over 200 people last winter and there were many that couldn't follow without getting stuck a few times here and there. So I am quite happy with the way I ride and where I ride. Open chute riding isn't my thing and I will be the first to admit that tree riding doesn't have to be WOT to have a good time. Chute riding pretty much is WOT and a real developer of heat. Quite frankly, the clutching didn't satisfy the circumstances. We can only hope that the '18s will be better.

As for venting and removing foam, I've been removing foam since 2008 and quit the venting when the eTec's came out. Foam is removed for the water it holds but twist it any way you want to make your point. There were a lot of good G4's out there, but we only hear about or hear from the negative annies!

Some history on those having issues with me:
1) I am on topic - basically always
2) Have NOT started a BRP bash thread (unless to counter Daggy sending one sideways)
3)I am the guy that got Ric to cleanup the BRP Cares thread
4) I only post about what has happened to my sled....and I also post on when it has run well
5) I have also posted some of the fixes I made like the resivoir S brace
6) Give what I consider decent snow reports when I get home
7) Actually a funny happy guy in my circle of friends and relatives, even better when running on alcohol at the campfire.

Not sure who has been trained in a 5Why or TapRoot investigation. Those who have will always come up with the same root cause requiring correction.

BRP

WHEN BRP steps up to the plate and ACTUALLY does what is right I will give the appropriate atta boy and STFU.
But probably not till then.

Until then I will give my opinion on topic.
And yes I have a very healthy happy exceptionally active life outside of the 850.

Some peps need to get over me and realize where the root issue is. Being responsible for all aspects of projects from breaking ground to key turnover with cost up to 450M, can actually spot right from wrong and who is full of shat.

It is one's choice to like or dislike what I post but facts are facts.
And presently BRP sucks big time. IMO

Hope evryone enjoys their summer.

Point of FACT:

YOUR CONSTANT WHINING HAS RAPED MY EYEBALLS HERE ALL WINTER LONG AGAINST MY WILL. GET OVER IT
