Has anyone been to Robb or Cadomin recently? I'm looking for a snow report of that area.
I was told that Lovett provincial campground has enough snow to stage from. Looking to have that confirmed.

Also if there is enough snow. A few of us are thinking of headed out there for a day trip. Looking to see if someone that is familiar with the area, wouldn't mind showing us around.

Thanks.

We went there last weekend Ryan. Lots of snow at Lovett (so much, in fact, that we had to park in the pull out, because there's no way you'll get a vehicle into the campground), but the trail is real slim in lots of places. Like shale thin. Lol

It was our first time there, so our biggest problem was that every trail we took ended in dead ends. Possibly due to no snow? Rode a few new forest areas with non existent snow, only to have to turn around and ride it all over again. We put about 80km on, but probably only rode 40km of trails. Just back and forth over the same stuff.

BUT, we also found a couple areas with 2+ feet of untouched that we were able to play around in.

Don't think I'd go back this year, unless they get a good dump.

Most of the snow in the Cadomin area has been either blown away or melted. Although they did receive about 4 inches of new in the last couple of days.

Not much snow anywhere now. It is going quick. The only thing is the forecast is colder now for the next couple weeks so what is here will prob stay a little while longer.

Sounds like you needed to go a little more south. Red circle is the camground, blue circle is the Lovett staging area. It's huge.

Don't feel too bad, we almost made the same mistake our first time out there. Had the same experience last year. Ditches weren't too bad, but the trails had low snow and lots of ice on the hills. Some exposed shale also, I wouldn't go back unless they had a big dump.

Is there "more" riding down by the staging area than at the campground? Or do they all connect?

I'm 38 ish miles as a Crow flys from Robb area and the snow is rolling in heavy.
Quad T-4 tracks were digging all day on old cut blocks. More then enough snow too support many hot running sleds in this area.
Big open Meadows of endless play grounds in all directions.

Lem.
