Swan Hills snow?

Is it worth driving out to Swan Hills to ride, park at the campsite on the north side of the road before Swan Hills?

To give you a rough idea, the Whitecourt sled rally for next weekend was just cancelled the other morning due to lack of snow. I think we got about 2 inches yesterday, first measurable snowfall of the year.

That being said, there is always more snow north of Whitecourt so it probably isn't too bad up by SH.

Yes, I looked at the riding conditions threads and there is not much for information there at all. I guess I'll give it a go myself and report back with pics and conditions, heard the groomer was out there so it can't be too bad?

Anywhere from 1.5-2' but you gotta go way west of swan and south a bit, not good at all, I myself wont even bother with it and I usually log a lot of miles out there

Im going swan hills Monday,the bravo is staying home and my new quad is going to get a work out.And no I don't ride on the sled trails.

Was good, always use more snow but we rode power line and cutlines and then the trail out to goose tower road.

maybe I should rethink about taking the sled,But then its suppose to go way up in temp so who knows.

yup. take the sled. we were icefishing at Carson and some sleds came from Swan hills. said it was great. they were going to the Carson Cabin for lunch and head back
