Going to be taking my brand new axys to fernie on the weekend. Dealer said no full throttle in the first 160km. But looking at the photos looks like there will be lots of pow to push through.

Hope i dont screw anything up... with my sweet skills ill probably be shovellin most of the day.

How many have actually ever followed the break in?

East of the Rockies and west of the rest.
Never. Vary the throttle but pin it out and get it working. You need pressure behind the rings to seat them. I tore my pro down after 700 miles and it looked like new. Piston skirts only .002" inches deformed.

Ride it like it's stolen.

Just play with it on the trail. Don't just hum along at a constant rpm.

08articcat riding a Polaris...... Never seen you use much full throttle so you should be fine. JK, once the belts been warmed up ride it like you normally would.

A buddy of mine that builds street bike race engines has always said if it isn't good enough to fire up, warm up and pin then it isn't good enough to ride. I have always broke mine in like I will ride it and have never had an issue. Little added oil in the first tank and that's it.
