A friend has the abom and said they're awesome. Same principle as the Oakley I think

Yah I was reading on them and seems there only good to about -20 before the battery goes to crap. Any info on that would be good if it's true or not. We get colder here alot

They work super well, but I'm not the best person to comment as I don't usually fog goggles. That said, they did their job when I was wearing a balaclava over my nose during the last arctic outflow and have been great on a couple deep moist days. You get about 30 3 minute heat cycles per charge and no issue with battery drain in cold that I noticed.

My friend is a water buffalo and sweats like a pig, he says they are the first goggles he has ever been able to use all day.

I bought a pair and love them, they are a big goggle and are a bit cooler than a regular goggle on the trail, but the lack of sealing imo helps with the venting.
I wear glasses and in the revy deep pow the infernos preformed beyond my expectations. Everyone in my group bought a pair on the revy trip.
Battery lasted longer than expected, you can feel your face get warmer when the lense is activated.

Any input on oakley infernos or ABOM goggles fitting size LARGE 509 altitude helmets??? Ive been hearing that the Abom goggles do not fit well in less that an X-L size 509 helmet, curious for feedback from anyone with experience, would love to get a pair of either brand, apprehensive about battery life on soggy days with heavy use

Infernos fit in 509 helmets. Battery life is not a issue on powder days. If you mean rain by soggy days than nothing will help that.

I have that ckx titan helmet with the infernos and the fit is absolutely perfect, like the goggles were made for the helmet, last year on a socked in 4’ of fresh day i never took the goggles or helmet off all day and used maybe 15-20 heat cycles, never fogged once, never had to wipe the goggles once, and with that flip open muzzle, its the best combo ive found

I have the BRP XP-R Carbon helmet, not sure how well either will fit. I currently run the 509 Aviators and like the big lenses which is why i was looking at ADOM, as they look the same. I also like the light you can see in the corner of your eye to know the heater is on.

I don't have a huge problem with fogging up, but every once in a while on cold days it would be nice.

Cheers

I have the carbon brp helmet and the Oakley infernos. Every time yah turn the heater on the battery pack vibrates. Ive noticed that Oakley only has one pair of goggles and lenses this year.
