Wicked day on a Sidewinder!

I did get to ride the 17 in the power tour, wished we would have had 3 ft of fresh and that I wouldn't have had food poisoning but still rode. We had about 3 inches of fresh so no real power carves and Allen was almost packed to a hi way, even with that I pulled a line up off the creek bottom and had it walk over backwards for me on the wind lip at the top. if I had not bought my viper I would probably have a winder sitting beside my tapex.

One thing I learned when I was sled shopping, there are a lot of clueless and useless unprofessional salespeople out there.

Trust me, I'm not knocking the sled. I'd love to try one. And thanks for the offer.

I had one salesmen say is the sidewinder a side by side lol. When I called 6 different dealerships in Alberta I got price differences of about $3500 all in on these sleds. Sundre was the best price but Cycle works Red Deer matched it being my local dealer I'm glad they did. Esmoke was there at the time and is in Vernon now was good to deal with and rides one himself.

Ezsmoke is going to be building a BTX like mine, he has one in the work's. Atleast that is what he told me the other day, he loves what i did with mine and we shared info. He will be trying out some different gears in his and we are going to compare the results.
Yes he is currently riding an MTX and a Cat.

He work's for the dealer i deal with, actually i deal with 2 Yammi dealers. Kelowna and Vernon.

I rode with Lund last week, I have an 18 ascender and other then he stretched his Sidewinder so the rails are different and the shocks. The suspension are virtually twins otherwise. He said that he still in the test mode for the rear suspension simply because of the stretch job he did. So he is undecided on the shocks yet, he needs to ride it more and this guy can ride.
The sled literally rips and in my observation saw no issues in handling, unless your a professional and can pick out little handling issue I think most would not.
That's my opinion.

Is it frowned upon, or does it matter, or is it still a no no??

They have a built in rollover valve, no issues upside down. Will shut down. Not like the previous ones.

You don't run any sled upside down, 2 or 4 stroke. Unless your looking for trouble.
They are good and not like the 1049 were. I have not had mine on its roof yet but had it on its side numerous times. No issue, basically it is like it never happened.

Had a chance to throw a leg over a winder on Saturday. Man that power is addictive, they just keep pulling and pulling. We were in marginal snow conditions and handling was impressive. I got it into some deeper snow and steeper terrain and it was unstoppable in the conditions. Suspension setup was stock and it's super wheelie happy but has enough power to avoid trenching out on the shorter slopes. All in all I was very grateful for the chance to try one (thanks Mark!) but it won't be my next sled. I am a bit of a one dimensional rider tending toward the technical side and it's not quite there for my riding style. For most guys that dabble in the trees this will do it but I found it still a bit cumbersome to get onto edge and it wasn't as confident staying there when hitting hard ruts and setup snow. How does Yamaha not offer this in a factory 174?

Coupled skid might also be a big help.

I appealed the copyright then they gave me my first strike on my YouTube account. I guess Fleetwood MAC isn’t a fan of sledding videos. lol.

Like really, if a person has purchased that music I don't see the problem in using it on a video. And for how low the views are on our personal sledding videos, what is it really harming ??!?

Better to just let the people claiming content as their own to have the rights, they put an ad on it, or get analytics from it.

Putting the music in a video may give you the opportunity to make money off the music, and they want their share.

There’s also no telling what goes viral, it’s all run off a computer that scans every video for every like sound. Sometimes I’ve had it try to block my content because of some sounds that were made in my video sort of sounded like a song, it gives you the time in your video where it was matched. I disputed that claim and won.

There’s no human element to the process until someone disputes it.

Hopefully we can hook up this season, my buddy is doing a sidekick on a 19 G4.
I do not think the sidekick G4 will hang with a mtntk 850 poo tho.
