What is the major selling feature of the Baofeng over the BCA radios??? From what I can read, it looks like range???
We are just sitting in Stewart, BC and discussing radio options and trying to determine which way to go?

Are BCA's water proof?

Baofeng 7watts versus 1 or 2 watts with BCA
Baofeng is two channel vs1 with BCA. This allows you to talk/listen on two different frequencies.
baofeng is dual band VHF and UHF BCA only has the FRS/GMRS channels. All the logging road frequencies in BC are VHF.
Different antennas and remote mikes that you can use with the baofeng including mag mount for your truck.

And Baofengs are MUCH cheaper!

Ok I have my finger crossed. My shipment is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. I am going to be out of town for a week but If anyone is in a panic to get some I could get them out Saturday morning. If you can wait another week that would be better for me. If you want some sent out Saturday send me an email ray@totallyawesomeadventures.com with your mailing address and credit card info or call or text your credit card info to 604-902-1199

These radio are working out good. Great for quading and dirt biking too especially if you are using active logging roads.

Yuuuuup! Really happy so far.
Started keeping one in my truck when I'm on the road too. Was going to put a permanent 2 way in the truck, but no need to anymore.

Thanks for the help in getting my order together Ray.
I just ordered 7 units and I look forward to the coming season with these radios. It will be nice having all of our group using the same radios this year. I definitely think that the Radio package that Ray has put together is the best value out there compared to its competitors.

If you are talking about Rec/Trans - Digital Coded Squelch yes they are. I have them programmed for all the 35 RR channels and the Green, Blue, Brown, Yellow Gray and Black repeaters.

Hi Ray, do you have lots in stock right now? Might talk to my riding group and get some!

I have 15 in stock right now but will be ordering more for the up coming sled season. It is a great way to keep track of your buddies while out riding.
