I was looking forward to the release of the bike - the most exciting product in a while. But unless I missed it, it isn't being offered for sale as of yet? It's not on the website...

Yes, I see it on the website. But no pricing or details... may as well have said nothing at all then leave a potential consumer hanging, I expected it to be a mid season release after the Haydays unveiling. The only exciting Cat product for the mountain / backcountry market for 2017, and you can't buy it. If it works well, I'll own one, but won't fork out the $$$ until I can ride one, and I don't care if Hibbert rode one in the video - he's being paid.
Sorry for the sour grapes, but I feel Cat let down the dealer network out west, never mind the consumers. I wasn't expecting huge changes for 2017 in the M-series, but we actually ended up with fewer choices (no 3" on the LTD, no turbo 4s except on the 153 HC) and a color scheme on the "mountain cat" that looks like Stevie Wonder approved it - a green Holstein cow - sure emphasizes the "BOLD" in BNG. I'm sure it will work well on the snow, but I can't get past the color...guess I'll be looking for a holdover sled come fall or wait till 2018.

I hear ya. Really curious about specs, pricing, etc. on this machine and have put off the purchase decision until this is released... Cautiously optimistic.

Hopefully Artic Cat will price these machines as affordable as the Quads, I am having a tough time justifying paying more for a dirt/snow bike combination that has to be hauled in the back of a truck (no offense Harley owners lol) or on a trailer to enjoy it.

i know Cycle Works RD has been on this , and was the unveil last night. Maybe they can answer some questions.

Did they give you guys any specs on the bikes last night.

Obviously a Sherco 450 engine, frame and forks- what about parts availability? Those are good motors but parts up here suck. And they have Mariocchi forks too. Nice - but hard to get parts for.

Is the 6 speed a close ratio tranny?

Will purpose-built include factory thermostats, hand warmers and wider winter pegs?

Ski and skid? The single arm appears to be a great idea to reduce weight and allow the bike to rollover better.

But not having details out now is more than a little bit dumb. Timbersled and Yeti both have the Snowchecks out. AC is going to lose sales unless we the public know what we are buying.......

There is a HUGE market out there for a factory snowbike. Old farts like me generally do not have the time to build a timbersled, but have the money to buy. And even a 1 year warranty would be sweet.

No word of a lie. If this is even close I will be selling my Timbersled, using the KTM summer only, and buying one (or two) of these.

I cannot believe yamaha has not been all over this one... years ago. Shows you how they are lacking fore site.

Wheres all the specs and info on this thing? Looks cheap from what a guy can see plastic spindle, plastic tunnel, square tubing for the track kit frame? The mono rail looks like it would work for handling purposes but the rest of skid looks heavy. Track looks decent don't know much about sherco but im sure parts aren't cheap for the bike.

Cool, does it come with tires to ride in the summer?
