We have very little snow here in SE Sask. We have possibly a few inches, but nothing more.

Turns out perfect conditions for my 3 year old to start riding his 120. He rode it a few times last year, but it was clear that he was a little early for it. This summer he received a power wheels for his birthday and has almost worn the tires off of it. I was blown away when he jumped on his sled this year and was all into doing figure 8's, etc - his control has increased significantly.

I am a little worried however when I find him wih a shovel and he tells me he's building a cool jump and don't worry dad it's safe...

uh oh...and it starts...

Enjoy this while you can because pretty soon you will only be able to look back on the memories. Thanks for sharing. I had a blast with a group of Flatlanders from Raymore and area for the past 4 days. Sure getting tough to find the good snow.......

LOL, well it was safer than my nephew's plan. He thought it would be cool to do a drop off the end of the cattle loading chute. Good thing he snagged a ski about half way up. Don't thing the 120's suspension would have soaked up the impact of the landing. :d

Just taught my 4 year old nephew to ride last week. Had to keep telling him to look where he was going instead of looking to see who was watching him drive. Good thing he was on a wide open lake lol

I just moved from bville in may of 2014 there were kids on a 120 doubling and pulling a toboggan with another 2 kids in tow the winter before the driver was about 4 and a half and had been riding the sled since he was three. trained by responsible parents who walked beside him with the tether ready to be pulled if he misbehaved. That young boy was safer than most of the adults in our subdivision

He got a lot better by the end of the day, it was really only the first half hour that he had to be told to look ahead. He was so proud to be driving by himself the first time that he wanted to make sure every one was watching. I agree if trained right kids can be much better than some of the adults out there.

one thing I definitely recommend on these 120s is the flag that shows up at least 3 or 4 ft above the sled it makes your kids visible to people in higher vehicles and easier to spot if they roam away from you on the lake

Consider a wireless remote kill switch switch from 3built.com. I put one on my boys mini and it works awesome, especially if you are anywhere other than a wide open lake or field.
A flag is also an excellent idea, I'll be doing that.

This is a great idea...little guy has picked it up fast but man does he have some ideas sometimes.....thanks for the tip
