Im in the process of putting something together that will be similar to these
I have wheels that should work nice just waiting on some computer drawings
looks like will be a couple hundred bucks or more by the time its done
not sure what people would pay

Only flaw I see is that there doesn't appear to be anything to keep them from coming off if you back up over something. If someone can nail that part of the design then they will have a winner IMO.

Trust me. They won't come off. Takes quite a bit of force to get them to hook under the ski hoop. That's why he left the main part a bit longer. A little extra leverage. Drove his sled up onto and off of his utility trailer which has a 1.75" thich tailgate to drive over.

How are those little wheels going to stand up to logging roads? Good idea but i think you need way beefier wheels.

Hahaha. That's hilarious. They are NOT built for riding your sled across the country. They're made for driving it in and out of your garage. They're nice, because you can actually steer your sled, unlike being on a set of dollies.

How were you planning on keeping your sled cool, and your sliders from burning up on said "logging road"?

I thought they were ski savers?? Driving my sled out of the garage doesn't hurt fawk all but the floor, maybe if they were called floor savers it wouldn't be so misleading.

I've seen guys with home made "ski savers" to save their skis when you have to ride a mile or so of gravel to get to the snow. That I might pay 200$ for.

Sliders are way cheaper than skis, went through 3 sets of skis last year!

Milk crate strapped to tunnel full of snow.

Alright then. Well, my buddy just built them for getting around the house/garage/driveway/street. Has no intentions at all to be using them so he can ride his sled on gravel roads all summer long.

I was talking about the OP's 500$ ski savers from Europe,,,,,, your buddies looks like they will work good for what he intends them for.

finally got these made for me
seem to work fine but might need a bigger wheel it is 5"
was thinking around $195 for them/set of two ( plus tax and shipping of course )
or if you want to get your own wheels could be $145
that way if you want better wheels for rougher service you can get what you want

Well this is a pretty cool product. If you used Google translate you would see they make reference to having a patent and "they will take kegal action against those copying their design. I think you are ill advised to use this public forum to copy and sell their product. As pointed out by Fernie Snow, a secret between three people can only be kept if two are dead. I am sure there are many more than that now.

I picked up a set of Sure Grip Dollies which work fairly well and were in the $110 range. https://www.suregripdollies.com/wp/product/

Not quite as slick as the swedish product but readily available.
