How does that one work does it just tilt to load the top one ?

I’ve thought about a sheet of plywood on 2x4 frame
bolted to wall at the end with heavy duty hinges.drive up or winch up and lift back end with a roof mounted winch .
Put legs under rear and let it sit on those

I have struggled with this for years. Various designs and none of them worked well. In the new house, we are a little cramped in the garage/shop department compared to the space we had before this down sizing thing was a good idea. Came up with this design; 4 large castors (2 locking) , 4x4 corner posts, 2x4's and a sheet of 3/4" plywood. Used lag bolts to attach the castors and had to be creative to enlarge the 4x4 to support the plate of the castors. The height is the same as the deck on the truck. Load the sled on the deck, wheel the sled dolly to the back of the truck, and back the sled off onto the plywood. Wheel the dolly into the garage so that the second sled (it is on small shop dollies) can be wheeled under the shop dolly and the first sled. There is a cross brace that needs to be removed and replaced to accommodate the lower sled but it holds the foot legs together so they don't slay outward. Move the sled dolly and the sled underneath into position and it is done.
No lifting and no large amount of muscles required. Very safe and quite easy to stack the two sleds out of the way for the summer.
