Question for the brain trust.

This past weekend when I got to Fernie I had a lake of coolant on my trailer. The temp changed drastically from when I'd left home (-30) to when I got there (-7). The coolant wasn't coming out of the overflow, rather it was coming from a hose somewhere (I guessed) and was pooling up in the engine pan before finding it's way out.
Topped up, rode both days no issues. When I got home (-25) it did it again.
Anyone else experience this with their XM's? By the looks of it, I'm thinking it's the top (larger) clamp on this T fitting.

I had my 14 XM do that once, first winter i owned it... It came out of a heated shop onto the trailer, 6 hours to edmonton, -35 when we left, -25 when we got to Edmonton. Stopped to fuel up the pickup and there was a puddle of coolant on the trailer, resivoir was empty, thermostat housing was wet, grabbed a spare thermostat at martins and some hose clamps.

Topped it up when we unloaded in Blue River, has not leaked since, and i never did do anything to the hose clamps unitl i changed to an aftermarlet thermostat and it still has not leaked.

Likely just need to replace my clamps, not my whole T-stat?
If you know someone with the tool for the constant tension clamps I would just snug them up. If not just change the leaky clamp. It's a bit of a C U Next Tuesday to change the t-stat.

Yup, I added zip ties to the hoses and squish clamps on my Xp to all them

They expand and contract at different rates, where the zip tie is similar to rubber

So it's like a back up clamp
