sleding.jpg Finally!! I have went on my first decent flat land ride yesterday after a nearly 2 year hiatus. The crappy snow conditions have ended at least in the Ft Mac area.
I have my 600 nearly rebuilt to brand new with lots of new parts, including a new top end after 6600 kms. It felt good to get back on a cutline and put some miles on a beautiful blue bird day.

How do you like that beacon I was debating between the green mammut and the tracker 3.

I got it for 355$. My 8 year old daughter grabbed it and found the hidden beacon with it immediately. I haven't done a multiple burial scenario yet but I'm positive it would outperform my old Ortovox Patroller and it is pretty good as far as 9 year old beacons are concerned imo.

waiting on a few parts still... but got new bars and old grips done last night with some help from revmike. We felt so good about it we drank all the vodka and whiskey and butter ripple and beer and tea with Kokanee800 and his girl ...then had a jam session and knocked the dust off the old drum kit and my red SG through the big bass amp til 4am.
