Sorry. Not trying to insult you lol. My brother and I were there and I think helped you out that trip. Good to see you've been getting out. Hope to see you out there this season when we get epic snow.

Oh I wasn't insulted haha

The learning curve, it is steep. I've graduated from wondering why it is I'm out there to my friends wondering why they bring me along haha.

Weather and breakdowns unfortunately. We started a couple weeks ahead this year but then the rain came and pushed us back. Making some progress now though.

That's unfortunate, we are lucky we never had any real break downs other then out 9600 failing to start one morning and it turned out to be a connection at the steering column and getting an intermittent connection for the ignition which explains the stutter issue we had before. We need to finish hauling all of our straw and the remainder of our green feed. How much land you guys have? We are at roughly 2200 acres cattle and grain.

We're running two 9790's and in the last two weeks we had a gear box pile up, the header lose a bearing that took out the roller and on the other machine the feed chain snapped haha. But that being said, 4 seasons with these and they have had very little go wrong till this season.

I believe we're just over 3600 acres grain, not sure what we're running for pastures anymore as we've downsized to about 50 head now (10 years ago we were around 100).

Just to keep it sorta on topic here's a pic of Shane getting after it:
