Good day Folks,

As some of you may know the Canadian Avalanche Center and a bunch of others have been working very hard on a 10 chapter video series titled "Throttle Decisions"

It has now been released on Vimeo, and they are working on a for purchase DVD that proceeds will fund the Canadian Avalanche Center.

I've watched 2 sections of it so far and I am VERY impressed.

Sit down with your groups and watch these video's its good reminders of what we all need to be watching out for, and the consequences if we do not watch.

Awesome video series and super stoked to be a part of it. The CAC now has the DVDs available for a recommended $10 donation. Give them a call to get your copy 250-837-2141

Or....if you are in the Valemount area this weekend, we will be showing the show component as well as a few chapters Saturday night beginning at 730 at the Valemount High School with admission by donation.

Those videos are a "must see" for everyone heading to the back country. Weather you're a newby or just want a refresher. Really gets you thinking big picture.

+1 on making this a sticky/must watch
+1 on the comment in vid saying "getting your AST1 is like your licence for being in the backcountry" IIRC
