there is a product called Plexus, you can get it at ATV/Snowmobile dealers. Its nice and brings out a good shine. It also doesn't make swirl marks on a clear windshield. its a little pricy tho. Also Turtle wax, Liquid Ice, it works really good for cleaning plastic. Its an Automobile interior cleaner. As fopr brake clean. you can use it under the hood, but watch, it will discolor certain things and affect painted surfaces if left on to long. When it comes to polishing sleds, plastic or aluminum, I've tried almost every product sold on a shelf.

I like the Plexus on my own stuff although it is a little more spendy than some other cleaner/polish. It doesn't leave a film behind and will remove minor scratches especially on a windshield. It works awesome on the helmet too. If I get any scuff marks  I use non-chlorinated brake and parts cleaner, wash off, then Plexus. A can of Plexus lasts a long time, works great on the shield and plastic on my motorcycle as well as the helmet shield.
