Can you post more pics of that Apex turned into a quad. I bet that thing is wild in the dunes.

We are now using a Nitro on the same kit and it is just as sweet.. I don't have pictures of it yet but I should here soon.. I have not heard of anything beating it yet. I think it is down at Sandmountian right now.

Imagine the maintenance costs associated with all that sand and rock in the skid and drivers on that thing.

well the drivers are machined aluminum and the skids don't even touch.. the track runs on round about 20 to 30 boggie wheels.

I know when you sandblast alum......it get thin really fast.......how is the tunnel holding up? how you cooling it? turbo? (did not sound like it) got any pics of the rear skid?
Guys have been running sleds in desert for years some even ran in the Baja 1000 non classed and non competition though

The tunnel is handling itself just fine with all the sand not really a big issue as of now.. it has a Simmons Propane Turbo system on it.. Sence it is Val Simmons sled.. it has a trucks 350 radiator on it just to keep the motor cool. And since the sled in at the dunes as of this moment I can't get you those pics but i will post them later.

that is cool.......it kicks the $h!t out of the old 440 TnT that I put 4 wheels on to back in high school! lol
