Having a hell of a time trying to find places in the Edmonton area to get good but cheap parts to fix a Polaris XCR SP 600 Triple... Cylinder head is cracked, and would also like to see if its possible to get a single exhaust to get rid of the triple pipes... Any suggestions?

Elk island Polaris used to have at least 3 of them (I think they were parting them out), they may be gone by now, but it may be worth calling them... If it is a triple triple, then stick with the triple pipes, imo

I'm also looking for a complete engine for one. I'll trade you exhaust. Stock exhaust on mine.

Hey you gotta watch what you say around here. These people dont like vintage Polaris. They say they are good for nothing.

There are some people on here that were dropped on their head so many times when they were a baby that they think a 98 wedge should be put to pasture cause there is new iron out that will spank it silly.

Some folk keep bugging me to part it out. I think they might be offended that my old piece of sh** still kicks a** and there is nothing they can do about it. My 2011 rmk was in the shop for two months last winter, can't say that about old reliable, it just keep going and going. If they don't like, they can just follow behind me.

You could also check with SLP they made a set of domes that fit under the stock cover that worked very well, I had a 93 XLT 580 that ran like a top and I would LOVE to see that motor return with direct injection in the new chassis. The sweet sound of a 2stroke triple is music to my ears :) That motor would pull to 100mph on hard pack all the time, for riding at home on trails what else do you need, not to mention it sipped fuel with 34mm carbs I can't imagine how good it would be with DI. :)
