Cant get Jug out of xp HELP

Iv got my jug half out but i cant get it over the piston and off......... Any tricks or ideas

roll the pistions right down with the crank by hand.

i find i have to roll the crank to get them off. takes some patients, i dont have any

Patients??? I think its a sled in a garage, not in a hospital

I just slide the air box out the boots will stay with the carbs (that section slides out of the air box ) pull carbs back remove reeds that will give you enuf to clear the crossmember that is all I did anyway
