Tree problems

This is a terrible year for trees drooped down over the trails from the Sept. snow. We had them cleared and this last snow brought a bunch more down. Mostly 3-4" birch. What have some of you done to protect the strobe etc. on top of the cab of the Snocat? Don't say cut the trees as we are working on that!

Build a cage around the light, somthing heavier then the one pictured here, then ad a sweep to the front of it, most be a welder up your way that could make one....

Yes i started on my trail network last night. A lot of clearing to be done. I was thinking doing similar idea as IHR drew up

It was already removed by a tree but I kind of like to keep it on for safety. The machine is pretty visible but the light helps.
