Well Guys
The trail packing started tonight, after the snow stopped this morning we ended up with a total of a foot, couldn't wait any
longer, had to get out and start the process.
Everything is working well, but the snow depth is making the Rhino work pretty hard.
If we get a good dump this week the Geo will get the call.
See you on the trail
Don

Rhino!!!! Your still running tires. Are you pulling your packer around? If you got snow I bet Flatbush got snow. Heading up there Monday to do some trail work.

The photos were taken right after the initial purchase at auction. A sled deck and tool box has been added to the groomer since then. A blade for the tractor is also in progress. Blade mount requires a bit of work to get it operational.

Hey Don the new groomer setup looks pretty sweet. Never did get to make it our your way ridin last year and I have forgotten where a guy would go to find a staging area. Hope you are getting lots of snow today and thanks in advance for any info. Hopefully see you on the trails out your way soon.

Hi Guys
Well if it ever stops snowing here I will get out and start packing today.

PLEASE don't forget to ice and muskeg depth test. There is only a max. of 8 inches of ice this year, and a lot less if the snow
has been on the lake or river crossing. Where I work we have been testing the area's where we have been packing for two weeks and still only have 18 inches of
frost.
We will be anxious to go but don't drop a snow cat or tracker through the thin frost layer.
Get the cordless and a 15 inch long 1/2in wood auger bit, and then drill through the ice or muskeg and it will tell the ground or ice
story.
I probably drill 200 holes per season checking for ice and muskeg depth.

See you on the trails
Don

Very good message Don. All operators need to be aware of this. Groomer units are heavy and do not float. Very expensive to repair and hard to get out of the area broken. This could eat up a years worth of $$$ to the local club. Know before you go.
