For the guys that convert back to wheels, has anyone left the thermostat set up in during the summer ?

Any issues ?

Bike is a Husky TE511, been riding around town. Temps, are about 170 F to 205 F

One rad has an electric fan.

Man these plated dirt bikes are fun !

What are your thoughts on this ?

Yep, no problems running it in the summer. I run my coolant heated bars too and just shut them off on warm days. Really nice for the cold and wet days tho.
You will have no issues, those temps are right where you want to be.

Thanks, will just leave the thermostat in , hopefully no overheats when stuck in in a mud hole , with no forward momentum !

I have had a 2015 Timbersled kit on for the past 4 seasons. You can never have enough HP on a snowbike.

This Husky is the 2012 Italian made version, prior to the Austrian buyout.

The motor displacement is 488 cc's, not sure why the were badged 511.

So probably not much notice from a 450 cc bike.

Would like to see a 501 (238 lbs ) or 701 (320 lbs ) Husky tracked equipped, and see how they pull.

The extra cc's probably be erased by the weight.

that 650 HUSABERG is 240 dry, which seems light for that power? I wonder if they're a bit more top heavy?

I've only ridden a 650 Berg once but it definitely felt heavier than 240#. It friggin ripped though. This was on dirt tires.
