Hey folks, anybody interested in doing some local snow/ice racing to pass the time between trips to the hills? I have 30 acres of twisty turny bush trails that I am starting to groom. Hoping to eventually get a base similar to alpine access trails that both tracks and studded tires can use. Tracks/ski not reccemended at this time, not quite enough cover yet. I'm gonna keep 1 bike set up with studs until enough to run the kit. Let me know if interested in coming out?

Hey mike, looks like a great idea. Racing mountain sleds I’m assuming would be strait line racing like 1/4 mile . I would give it a go !

Don't have a real good drag racing area as most of the property is bush. We would be doing more of a hare scramble type of racing through the trail. I think I'll likely limit it to bikes until we can get some serious coverage and the mountain sleds aren't very much fun in there anyways. It's wide enough for sleds and I have taken mine through there but it isnt near as much fun as the bikes or a little snow cross sled.

All sled drags are 1/8 mile as only way to keep speeds down, 660ft and trust me it's long enough lol

I am in. When do you need the groomer?
I don't think we are ready for it yet. Pretty sure you mentioned that the cutters on your groomer (Advancd Track Setter) were solid mounted and I looked up the specs on that model and the cutters are placed 1" lower than the guides. I tink we might be cutting some dirt still. I made a drag with finisher on the back to pack for now but will definitely borrow it off you once we get a little more snow and woop it up. I tried to order the adjustable version of yours but unfortunately they are no longer in business.
