How tall of a riser is fitting into the new style X handle bars? Havn't had a chance to to tear the bars apart to see what there is for slack in the cables.
I believe the stock riser is about 5.5" or around that. Was thinking an 8" should fit. Just see what people have being trying.

Thanks
Mike

8 fits, I have it on mine, i have a rox adjustable from 6" to 9" that fit aswell, but I think a 10" would be too much with stock cables.

2010's had straight bars thoughThinking 8's should be good that's a 2.5" over stock should be just right. Ran 8's on my zx's and 10's on my revs and XP'sThanks

your issue will be the brake cable, RSI make an extended one,the also make a 6,7,8,9 inch riser that looks and works great vs. to the stock cheese grater.

There's plenty of slack in the brake line on the 12's. I saw 2 2012s with 10" risers on them but the throttle cables were extended. Not sure how much will be necessary with the new U shaped bars, the 10" Risers really had the bars up there! I think I'm going to try them stock to start with.

Sweet, I'm gonna stay stock this year too.

Got the adjustable ROX on my 12 with about 7.5 inches of raise plus the bars. so 10 total and it works fine.
