I have a 09 with standard width A-Arms and wonder how wide these skis will feel? 8" wide vs 6.9 Pilots....

That's what they put on my Black..I'll be able to give you a report in a couple of months how they work. I've heard good things about them though. Sorry I can't help you now.

We have been getting quite a bit of positive feedback for those who have used our MTX skis. The MTX skis will give you great flotation in the deeper snow and have good turning capabilities due to the outer keels. The middle keel is 1" deep which is the same as our XTX ski so you will not need a ton of effort to turn them either. (Attached is the buyer's guide for reference)

If you have any technical questions or need any other information from us feel free to contact Mark at 888-321-6789 or email him at mark@caproskis.com

hmm I was happy with my Pilots, was going to run them on my '12, then started looking at the SLP SLT's.

I don't want a super wide ski like the MTX, maybe I'll look into the CA's

Yeah after I saw them in person I didn't want MTXs. A 7" ski is as wide as is needed I think. The 8" looked bulky and pretty silly. Unless you're a big gay yammy rider I don't see the need for that fat of a ski.

I had a line on a good price for them so that's why I was considering it. Pilots are good for me still.

The XP's just don't seem to perform as well with super wide skis. Atleast the one I tried didn't The XTX would be what I would look at....but I am a pretty light weight guy.
