Summit XP Oil Consumption and Poor Cold Idle

Hey guys hoping to get some feedback on a couple problems I've been having with my gf's 2014 Summit 800 Sport (ptek). Recently did full motor overhaul (top end, crank, ect.) Ran great for the first couple trips in the mountains with the exception of running rich (around 22:1). The adjustment screw was set properly at 16.5mm, changed it to 17.5mm and it made a minor change but not much - Problem 1

Problem 2 - A couple weeks ago gf rolled it down a small mountain. Since, every time I cold start it in the AM it idles poorly, very poorly, (sounds like 1 cylinder) blowing hard smoke. After warming it up it cleans right up and runs great.

I'm at a loss on both of these issues. Hoping for some help.

For problem 2 check for pitting on top of plug and black on the porcelain where the cap sits. You may have arcing going on there because of a poor fit. Was an issue with those sleds. They would run erratic till warmed up then make a better connection between cap and plug top and run good all day. Same thing again the next day. New plugs and plug wires is where I would look.

Thanks for the feedback. I checked the plugs and see no signs of arcing. When I start it in my heated garage it seems to start and idle decent, although a little smoky. Is their an easy way to view the oiler arm on the motor without ripping it all apart? I wonder if it was bent when the motor was installed causing it to flood with oil?
