Ive been chasing issues with the sled, looking for help. I have intermittent spark, when it runs it runs great, when it just turns over for ever. Chased out electrical back to the taillight, no problems. I lifted the wires just a little bit at the voltage regulator, sled started. Put a little rubber piece under them, thinking ut might be a short, but no spark
So either a short futher back, somewhere behind the chaincase , or an issue at the plug going into the voltage regulator. Pulled the plug apart, everything seems fine.

Any ideas.??? Supposed to go sledding very soon, dont want to miss another trip

It's the one of 2 wires behind the can and chain case, kind of inside of the engine cradle body

Thanks. Been all through there, no signs of short.
As an update, the sled doesnt even try to turn over now, so loss of power to the electric start too now.
I lifted the wires at the voltage regulator, and the sled started. Replaced the muffler, sled wont turn over.
Poor connection at the voltage regulator maybe?
Did an ohm meter check at the kill switch, its working fine.
Wish my head was smaller so i could cram it further into the engine bay
