So swapped an old quad off the farm for a 2010 xp 154.
Got it up on the mtn yesterday and was overall happy with how it ran and handled but am looking to do a few things to get the handling and some add ons closer to the xm without spending the money of buying an xm cause I'm cheap.
The s36 and t motion kit I rode an a buddies sled was a huge upgrade I figured. Are these kits direct from doo?
As well got looking at the headlight setup on the xm. Is it possible to swap a xm style headlight with the deleted bulb setup? I'm asking cause having a warm glovebox would be super handy and then I can get the box extension and run the brp gps that we have out of the Farms commander sxs.
Also I've got a couple track lugs ripped. Is it possible to put a 3 inch track on while the skid is out or do you need to replace drivers as well?
Thanks for any help I can get. Cheers

Need drivers . Just buy the T3 shaft and drivers.
T Motion - NO "gimmick"
S36 = Yes

I would keep a eye open and just purchase a XM ? Parts are expensive and you will have way more into your new found sled then selling it and upgrading.
Maybe even find a 154 - 163 T3
IMO

Don't think u can get a s36 kit anymore, you have to by the ras2 kit from brp I think now, it's a better updated setup anyways, more cash tho

Down an ole dirt road in a town you wouldn't know
C3 power sports steering post forward mod will make it easier on your shoulders when riding multiple days, Polaris gripper skis as well. S-36 kits are still around at some dealers. I sourced a S-36 kit form Riverside in St. Albert last November and Was around the $600 mark. Throw up a WTB ad in the classifieds here on the forum or kijiji. I lucked out and got mine from a fellow S&M member on her for $350, shocks and all.

A few must haves for the XP:

- Grip and Rip S module brace
- Racewerx Ski doo xp secondary clutch tower brace kit
- Dj's clutch kit really wakes up the 800R engine
- Get your crank run out on the PTO and MAG checked to ensure it is within the OEM runout spec.
- Refresh the top end with Wossner dual ring pistons at around the 2500km mark.

The nice part about updating an XP now is that there are a ton of aftermarket parts available; new & used. Cost is not as hard on the wallet if you were to go with modding a newer sled.

Thanks guys. I'll do some poking around and see what I find.
After being out in some good snow last week at radium some better running boards are definitely in order too. Toes were sore from kicking ice out all day
