Best aftermarket head for a 2010 800R

Looking for experiences and thoughts on an aftermarket head for an 800R. High compression interchangeable domes?

I had a MOTTS head,,, very good quality piece, interchange able domes keyed to only fit a certain way. Don't think they build sled parts any more though??

I seen huge gains with my engine tech 14:1 head. Added an extra 3.1 grams per arm to get the RPMs down.

run a slp 3-6000' since 0km and now have 5800km all original . different domes avail.

X2 for RK 13.5:1. That's what I had along with the rave modded by Deano and that sled pulled like a train. But I would do the dual ring pistons as well to.

yep, just finished installing MCB dual ring pistons tonite and now looking to top it off

Call Deano and get him to do that rave valve mod. The throttle response is amazing.

I had a terra alps head before i did his BB. With his head and y-pipe and DJ clutching, the other 3 XPs in our group wouldn't come close to it. According to some his head and Art's are very similar. I can't comment on the engine tech.

I ran cudney on my 07 with good gains and SLP on my 2010 and worked really well i also did the SLP intake on my 2010, was a great improvement over stock. I have Still have the SPL Head with 2 sets of domes for sale if anyone is interested. domes are 3000-6000 and 6000-9000

My buddy runs the Terra Alps as well on his 09 and loves it, he also runs DJ clutch kit. Runs very strong.

Run a 120 deg thermostat and get Mr. Linderman to cut your stock head. Do your self a favour and call Brent at Arctic Edge motorsports and talk to him about 800r heads. 403 564 4673
