This 08 Summit X has 3150 miles on the sled and 2 rides on a fresh short block that Trevor @ Macs in Sicamous installed for me. I found out that my tree magnet was on high, and while I was lucky enough to hit the tree with the bottom of the skis, the "E module" and the "S modules" broke in several places. Funny that the "A arms" and shocks and tie rods etc are not bent, lucky me. The short block with installation and some primary clutch parts installed cost me $4500 and I want to recover as much of that as I can, but I do not want to part the thing out unless I can't find an energetic young wrencher who has time and energy. Plenty of pics, and I can get more so feel free to ask for them, and make me a reasonable offer.

Tunnel is fine, there is a kink in the sheet metal below and in front of the Y pipe that will have to be straightened prior to installing the new module, but that won't be an issue once the damaged module is removed and the motor is out. Ballpeen and a sleeper will do it.

Arrgh been trying to scrap up cash on a super deal.

Hey posnick I did the same thing to mine I found a air chisel is the best way to get those big rivets out. I just split the "nut" side of them, then the "bolt" part just taps out. Took three nights start to done. I bolted mine because I know I'll do it again :d
