Last trip out to Valemount my gauge cluster went wonky at the beginning of the day. No temp reading, lost odometer and R light always on. Sled ran fine all day except the trail ride back down. I got two check engine lights and sled went into limp mode. Took sled to dealership and they scanned it and found mag coil short to ground. They tested the coil and it checked out fine along with the wiring. They reprogrammed the gauge but says the R is still on and temp not showing. They took it for a test drive and said it ran fine and the sled will be fine with the gauge cluster the way it is. Just wondering if I should trust this as I think the gauges can mess with the coils.
