I dont know what sled you have.
Caper11 ran 21-53 in his T3 sled with 114p chain.
Alex is running 19-53 in his T3 sled with 112p chain.
BRP spec for T3 says...
154; 21-49 w/112p chain,
163; 21-51 w/112p chain,
174; 19-49 w/110p chain....so I suspect if you have this one, then you might be getting a 112p chain to run 19-53

And how much is your clutch kit for my 174 ,

Catman,
That’s my sled Joe posted.
2015 174” T3
Stock was 19/49 gears with 110P chain
Put in 19/53 gears, the 110P would NOT fit. So close but did not fit.
Need to go to a 112P chain.

After reading about the clutch kit sounds like my best option for me is stock gearing and joes kit as I know doos stock clutching isn’t that great.

How does that clutch kit work below 4000 feet as I would likely be riding local every now and then , clickers adjust it enough too make it work.
Lets say you run 5500[6500]7500
• 15.9 grams, clicker 3 for 4500’~6500’ @ 7900~8000rpms
• 15.3 grams, clicker 3 for 5500’~7500’ @ 7900~8000rpms
• 14.5 grams, clicker 3 for 6500’~8500’ @ 7900~8000 rpms
• 13.9 grams, clicker 3 for 8500~10500' and higher clicker 4 or 5
• 12.9 grams, clicker 3 for 10500~12000 and higher clicker 4 or 5

15.3 grams in clicker #3.
When you are down at home, run clicker 1 and that will get you around fairly decent. Wont be 100% capacity but i'll squirt the snow out the back still. Like say Edmonton area at 2100 feet, it will run 8~8100 because of the weight. But if wanting 100% capacity then 20 grams, click 3 and hang on.

Excellant info , I will likely order a kit with 15.3 grams sounds like it would be an improvement for sure over what I have ,will be in touch, thx Joe

Where’s the best place to buy 53 tooth gear and 112p chain? Skidoo dealer?

I actually lucked out and found the 53 tooth gear on eBay. Trickier to find as I think that it only came out in the last few years.
The next day I hung up the phone as it was ringing to the dealer cause a 112p chain popped up when I refreshed my eBay search.
Neither seem overly popular on eBay.
If it wasn’t for lucking out there or on Kijiji it would have been purchased at the dealer.

Check eBay. There was another 53tooth listed when I bought mine.
