I preferred the 441 as well on the etec . But completely different clutching .
Used the DJ /438 ramp in my 880 ptec as it liked it better .
DJ ramp is a 441 except the first portion is a 415 to make it rev quicker which the etec didn’t like .

174 sled also . 3 inch and 2.5 inch tracks . 2:52 ratio for 2.5 and lower with 3 inch due to drivers .

I didn't like the behaviour of the 441 ramps, prefer DJ mountain or 438.

“DJ ramps are very close to the 438 but his came out first when doo still had the 441 that engine brake like crap and snap at engagement. DJ/438 is much smoother in the trees.”

Haha, we are complete opposites, I didn’t like the 438 or DJ mountain ramps. Did tons of testing with each.

So funny too! My 441’s and spring combo start out like my sled is electric. With low engagement it’s really smooth. My buddies look at me funny when I start moving cuz the sled engages quietly and moves without braapin. I found the 441’s more predictable in the trees.

The difference must be the different gearing and clutching. Either that or one of us doesn’t know wtf we are talking about. Haha
could be the gearing then. When I went from 441's to DJ on my 14 163 I ended up going up to a 20T top gear later down the road. The sled shouldn't have liked it but it did.

A 53 will fit but it will need a chain, the stock chain will not work, 112t chain if I remember correctly. I ran it in my 174.

Depends on the secondary setup, but I preferred the 415 in the primary.
