I just installed a c3 belt drive on a 2016 t3 that has an electric start and even with the battery on its side it seems to rub in a couple of places and a piece will have to be cut out of plastic for clearance which I would rather not do.
The factory battery has 310 CCA. Not necessarily tying to save weight if it throws of the balance of the sled. Just wondering if anyone has used the same style of battery only smaller. Thanks for any advise.

Well I figured it out after a few attempts, a little swearing and some cut knuckles.
To make it fit properly I went with a yuasa battery only smaller dimensions. 15 X
8.7 x 14.5 it’s 240 vs 300cca. Should be enough and if not I guess I will use the new rope. IMG_1285.JPG

You are not alone. I put a Tki on my 16 Doo and had to move the battery and other things to make it fit. I was definitely wondering how others were making it work. Good job!
I put the Tki on my 15 T3 and the battery tender li-po and it all fit like a glove - only issue I had was the Tki cover is a little ghetto - the plastic spacer piece
