most likely have a used one up for sale in September this year if you don't find anything. Gonna pull the 872 off and do another home built kit.

Just the one for now, or both? 872 with boost would be nice. He's liking where your's is I take it.

you don’t need a big bore with boost. The torque production of the turbo down low will surprise a properly setup BB. But yea we did a swap at the great north for a little and my low boost setup was drastically different. And quote, a turbo makes a big bore feel like a stocker all the time.

how does the big bore work. Theres a improvement over stock. Everyone’s expectations are different. Not sure whom is gonna give you a demo lol

Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
Ya I wasn't really trying to build a chute master - I geared it down to 2.64 to help with the xm bog - I'm just happy I got it tuned - only took me 3yrs fml
I always wonder if the high gearing on turbos is part of the cause of the bogging on turbos.
Now that it's working you will have to keep it forever as you know it so well.

Kanedog those are some impressive track speed numbers. Pretty much all the xm 163 t3 in our group are low to mid 60s kph at full chew when arking out. I wouldn’t hate some info as well.
I can't get 67mph either but before my speedo crapped out, I was getting 74kmh+ on a slow speed chew. If the turbo cant get traction and he spins then I can beat him. If he hooks up then Im toast. My secret is traction. I can hook up better than a turbo. In deep snow I have the advantage. Most other conditionsr I'm just another turbo meal.

I'll try to list off everything I've done to my 174 xm t3 2015 - TSS centre mount - turbo blanket - wrap straight pipe - gonna wrap whole pipe - hood is half gone - snorkel out clutch side - purple/green primary on a dynamo Joe kit 17gram pin weight - gates carbon belt - Shelbourne fuel additive for the win - 8.5 lbs boost 8100rpm - powderfreaks head and tstat housing - Baker rear skid setup - raptors all 4 - cross country front bumper Smith grade in the back - 11" big wheel kit - itech billet idler wheels - tki belt drive 2.64 ratio - my buddy Dave Sebelius was a huge help getting this thing dialed -;the amount of time I have on the phone with him is insane - redline G2 fuel controller with mainline adjustable fuel controller - added 12.5%fuel to the entire redline map that Dave built for TSS - I'm probably forgetting some stuff

What is the mainline adjustable fuel controller? I thought Dave Sebelius was working on his own fuel controller the Aurora DPS or something like that?

I think I saw you Sunday by the cabin before we headed down. We saw your buddies failed attempt, and unconventional descent.

Did you make it to the top after we left?
Ya my buddy had one too many Busch's - anything I was brave enough to attempt it made it

Redline has an adjustable knob attached to the box allows you to adjust fueling - lean/rich

Wouldn’t it be better to upgrade to a nice clean used OEM 850 ?
BB’s are way to much coin for what is gained IMO ?
Turbo market is getting to good and better bang for your dollar . IMO

That's all eh, huh

He is not wrong. It takes some tuning to get the power to the ground on a BB, BB makers don’t spend the necessary time on clutching like they should. In my experience tuning BB engines they vary in power, so generic clutch kits leave alot on the table.

I have confidence in olers setup.

And that's my worry, the clutching with the bb
