So that is the extent of the damage and I am still looking for rhs upper and lower arms used if possible or I guess I will have to buy new soon if I cant find any. I also need a rear flap, dynoport pipe would be cool and a 51 tooth lower gear if anyone has one. My next step is to drop the track out and change my drivers, send both clutches to Racers Edge and start putting this beast back together. I will be building my own custom tunnel stiffner and I will post on it but might be awile...time is hard to come by right now.

I would suggest just buying the front end kit from skidoo comes with new spindles, shocks, a arms and stuff and it’s way cheaper to do that surprisingly. Then sell off the used parts after. Sometimes dealers have some extra stock of those front end update kits and are willing to give a bit of a deal to clear up stock. Just my 2 cents. Good luck on the build.

It looks like I will need a primary clutch now, this one is going in the trash cuz it's worn out really bad, not the original for sure so does anyone out in snow and Mudland have a 2014 and up primary clutch with low kms for sale? Also still looking for rhs upper and lower a arms, rear snowflake and a dynoport pipe, pretty much have everything else rounded up, now to get on er!

IMG_2002.jpg Threw in the 8 tooth extraverts, look at the cleance still, doo should have done this from the factory. Easy install but the brake caliper removal was a real bitch cuz it was corroded, the worst design of all of the brands for driveshaft removal in my opinion. I also sold the stock doo track and put a camo 3" on, a little more weight but way better traction.

IMG_1996.jpg Here is where the gold is I hope, did all clutching with Darrell Baker at Racers Edge in Calgary and with his knowledge on this sled I am sure its gonna hum, rebuilt primary completely with his spring and ramps and weights, alot more to these doo clutches than I realized, also a shockwave secondary which works very well on these sleds, combined with gearing and the 8 tooth drivers she rolls over pretty easily on the stand.

IMG_1997.jpg Geared it with a 51 tooth lower and if you notice the chain almost doesnt need the tensioner, a 52 tooth would be perfect if you wanted to delete it, same upper gear, we will see what it runs like and I will post later.

The reason you have the extra clearance is because the aftermarket track is not a true 3” lug like the doo track. The aftermarket includes the belt and the lug to make the three inch. It was like that last year when I checked unless something changed.

The doo track is actually a really good track.
