3400 rolled over this weekend and still feels as good as new.2015 t3.How do you check runout properly.I tried on the clutch and didn't really work.

Ive done it both ways but when i pushed dealer for a new short block they check with plugs out prob gives them the least amount measured

2.8 thou i believe is spec. Had a picture sent from a dealer of update specs was about double of what my manual showed when it originally can out..... plus our are so the dial indicator doesn’t jump and it’s smooth rotation. Plus in and out will not effect runout of crank phase. Crank can be check on the bench with v blocks and will show the same numbers

my 13' is at .017 still running but def more vibration in the handle bars
yard sled only now til she blows

Are you sure on that spec I’m sure it was .0024 - .0028 the dealer text me a picture from service info first of this season
It used to be 0.0024, but they upped it to 0.0055 last year I was told in a few different instances , most dealers don't have the newer specs and no idea

Mine was way out dealer tilt me that “we don’t have the proper brp fixture for the dial indicator though so we have to order it first” it was on back order until January. They couldn’t fasten a piece of steel to it or use a dial indicator with a vise grip attachment though wanted my sled to sit from October until December or January lol needless to say I bought my own motor
