How does moving the rear scissor that 1/2" affect the machine/suspension? I've seen the ZRP bracket that keeps geometry the same but does the 1/2" offset too.Thanks.

Pros- makes it hard to collapse the rear scissor and holds the skis down more
Cons- lose rear bumper height

What's the center to center measurment on the rear shock for the 165 and the 175?

Just thinking out loud put the QSL shock from yamaha/cat is $650 and the center to center is 16".

That's the best call. No dinking around with a KISS coupler or ARC setup.

We were installing spring spacers on my friends skid, talking about this 1/2" or 3/4" move. I pushed on the rear scissor and it fell forward and stayed there... shock blown?

Would it fit?

I have heard certain dealer are selling these form$450CAD.
Kis coupler is $225CAD FFS.

Even if it didn't fit I bet someone like Nextech could mod it for a couple hundred.

Was the rear arm bolted to the tunnel at the time? That would happen if it wasn't. Just asking because you were installing spacers...

No it was un bolted, just making sure that damper wasn't pooched. It should transfer though?

Yeah if it was unbolted then its probably fine.

Just bolt it back together, push down on the bumper and see if it's doing its job(dampening the movement) if it reacts like a pogo stick time for a rebuild.....

No idea. My 174 already climbs too well so I won't be looking into it until I get back on a shorter machine.
