Mine was the soft bag, And the issue was the stuff bouncing around on the very rough trail up.

Mine is the same but has 6000km on it and is usually over loaded. No ideas how to fix it but looking at different bag options this year.

No problem with mine, but only 1300kms on it. Maybe I'll through some protective foam in the bottom.

Any of you guys use a pelican case attached using the linq System? I am thinking of doing that and it would be bulletproof and waterproof

Undecided on which new system for the 850 im going with. Mountain addiction has bee good but unless they address their mounting system, cant afford to loose another gas can from popping off. Was gonna go linq, but sounds like they have issues of their own.And they are an eye sore.

Yup - and love it. Have a couple set up now with smaller / larger Nanuk boxes. Keep intending to make a few frames to sell but haven't gotten around to it yet.

In them hills.
$70.00 for a powder coated bent plate with pre-drilled mounting holes. I know it's not cheap to have these made + they have a lot of time into it, but OUCH. I'll have to stick with my ugly farmer-welded unit for now.
It comes.with the LINQ brackets I think.
Or atleast it used too.

Ya my bag is always full and packed tight, thats not the problem. Maybe I've been on a "few" bumpy trails but at least the jerry can is still holing together, lol!
