so did you check compression - just curious what yours be at - have a 15 with 5k - wondering if its time to replace - my compression is approx 125 on both cylinders

Problem is the ring location pins can fall out and turn a ring before you ever have a compression issue

It's cheap to do before it wrecks a mono cylinder

tour sleds have it a lot easier than a hard ridden mountain sled.

I started to notice a bit of a drop in power after ~5000 km. Cold compression was at 140 psi each side and crank had 9 thou runout at 6000 km

sled is at dealer, BRP is pushing back on preventative rebuild because their crank spec is apparently being changed. I'm dealing on trading it for a compensator (174)

Mines well past 2.4 thou!!! I measured it and the mechanic did it as per BRP procedure and got the same number. Sorry but when I bought it in 2013 the spec was 2.5 I don't care if you change it in 2017 I bought it with 4 year warranty and expect that to be honoured.

Spec must have changed this year - spec was still 2.5 last year and did get warranty on a 2014 that was 5 thou - so what is BRps allowable runout now !?

They won't say, just that it's changing.

Banner has actually been really good about this, it's BRP pushing back.
