Hey Y'all

I have 2014 Freeride 154 with over 2200km on it and was thinking about rebuilding the shocks myself with new oil. never done it before but im mechanically inclined. I was thinking about changing some valving to maybe but not too sure. I like jumping it still. its got the stock KYB Pro 40's on it. any advice is good.

When I rebuild my KYB 40s I'm going to upgrade to these Hi/Low speed compression valves.

Might be something you'd be interested in.

Do they replace the upper section where big compression adjustment protrudes out of?

Yes it does, and gives you high and low spreed compression damping.

Way bigger orifice than stock. gives you way more adjustability.

Its a Good upgrade.

Stock valves.

The Doo oil isn't that great I've been told. Maybe find out what Enzo uses and get that.

I looked at rebuilding my kyb 40'smyself, once I seen the price for a bottle of oil and seals kits, I bowed out for the
fact that MBsuspension service does them for in the neighbourhood of $70 per shock.

Gotta give Matt at MB Suspension big credit. I did all 4 shocks on my freeride and he guided me through it all. Just had to take them to the dealer to get 300 psi of nitrogen in the piggy’s. Thanks again Matt. I’ll get all my suspension parts through him from here on out.
