Never tried one,, but they don't have a good reputation. You bought the nicest sled on the maeket,, don't go with the crappiest turbo kit. Get TSS, aerocharger or BD for the etec. All those kits have been working good.

Yes, but it will add an extra $2000 to the retail price. And boost is limited to 14psi. You lose your full warranty if you go higher.

Just kidding. :) I cant ever see a stock boosted 2 stroke but you never know i guess

Boondocker intercooled kit, with the appropriate engine work(cylinder porting & head cut) will also require a cooler thermostat. You sir should have yourself one hell of a good season. pm or call me at the shop for any further info you may require. 780 986 6370

Haven't heard and seen limited pictures/info, but the Impulse XM kit looks pretty swanky too

I keep hearing about how awesome the impulse kits are supposed to be over on snowest. From what Ive heard any of the impulse yammis didnt run that good at all until guys put boost it boxes on them?? If his boosted 4 stroke standalone didnt cut it not sure i would trust his boosted 2 stroke standalone. Maybe Im wrong?

My dealer in Meadow Lake is trying to be a dealer for Silber Turbos. My father wanted me to do some research on them so he could put one on. From what i hear my research is that its no good am i right? I mean there must be a reason why it's $2500 cheaper?

I still cant believe people are trying to boost engines built for natural aspiration, there is something to be said for " purpose built engines"= drive ability and reliability.

I don't want to bash any manufacturer of the turbo kits, but I will say as you know I have had every sled I have owned including many pros, and a 13 cat last year boosted with nothing negative to say about them, a buddy of mine still has my copper 174 pro I built and its still running perfect, the xm turbo ran no where near as advertised, the programming was so bad it was not rideable. I wasted 2 mths of my winter trying to figure out the problem with the company with no results..this is just my negative experience with a turbo kit on a ski doo, if I boost anything it will be another pro or cat!! I just want a bit more power and ride!! If someone out there has a "good running one" I would love to try it out!! seen a few other turbo xms and they all ran like crap.
