So after a couple impatient weeks my turbo and Ecu finally showed up today! Install went super smooth. Putting the oil lines on was a bit of a pain but not too bad. Wish there was a way to test and make sure they are all flowing. Took me and a buddy around 3 hours to get it all done. Changed the gearing to 22/51. 5psi spring. 9grams worth of shims on the pivot bolt and the spring and helix that came with the kit has the secondary. Weekend can't come fast enough. I meant to take a lot of pictures of the install but of course that never happens. FYI, all of the lines on the oil pump, i would highly recommend taking the factory pinch clamps off and replacing with high quality zip ties. The pinch clamps that are supposed to hold the oil lines on the bards of the pump and not exactly the best, and shouldnt be trusted to keep the lines on the barbs. With the zip tie you can at least get it nice and tight. Id hate to see you loose a turbo or a motor because and oil line fell off for whatever reason. Just my 2 cents. take it or leave it.

Well, looks like they have a new muffler option because mine does not look like that at all.

Ya it has been in the works for a while I guess. I had asked Justin about it at the sled show in the fall and he said it would be available December first. Never saw a release by them, but when we ordered them beginning of January he said they were good to go. I really didn't want that big suitcase they released originally.

So just got back from 3 days of riding and wow! This this is an animal! Ran fantastic. Not a bog or stutter once. Ran 5psi and the midrange is very impressive when it starts to build boost. Still needs some clutch work though, would over rev when pinned and the track would come out of the snow, or when I would hammer on it, the tac would come up to 8200 and then settle back to 8000. Bottom end was about what I would have expected, doesn't have the same throttle response as stock, but it is the cleanest fuelling turbo I have ever been around. Might have to look into some venting though. Things get crazy hot on the turbo side.

I went up one tooth on the top already. Running 22/51. Might consider going a little taller yet if more pivot weight can't get the rpm down. That was with the 5 psi spring and 25% 100ll.

Had you have a chance to mark your primary and do a good pull, see how high your belt is running up the primary..

If if I ever get my missing parts from Sibler I might be able to install this kit, but plans are to add a few teeth on top sprocket..

How much harder is it on fuel compared to stockers, will one need to add fuel for a long day

What parts are you missing?

I did not mark the primary. Never pulled any real long hills. Mostly on and off the throttle stuff in the trees.

I was actually pretty surprised how good it was on fuel. Don't need to hold it pinned nearly as much with the extra power is guess. If you had it to the bars all day I would imagine it would be awful thirsty. I have always packed extra fuel anyway. Our longest day this trip was 110km and i burnt around 35 L

Sounds like four items in the kit and my ecm.. It's only been since before Christmas that I have been waiting on items, been told every excuse in the book..

Box was opened by customs and missing items when I recevevied it.. No parts list for me to know forsure, but it sounds like some electrical connection, oil lines, springs and helix looking at the install video..

Well that's a huge piss off. The picture I took of the parts on the table is everything that came with the kit. I would send you a picture of the packing list but it already got burnt. We also did not have a great experience with the shipping. Very frustrating when there is nothing you can do about it.

All it needs now is a light-weight TKI belt drive kit. I have one in stock for that beast that would offset a little of the turbo weight.

If your our worried about an oil line a zip tie would be my last resort. They can get brittle and break often from heat. You can use squeeze clamps, gear clamps, worm gear clamps or a the perminate style clamps the you squeeze. We always keep lots on hand for engine work and swaps never ever use a plastic zip tie on an oil line.

Question.
When you say it gets crazy hot on the turbo side is this because it creates alot of back pressure?
